Fiddle-leaf figs are one of the hardiest plants for indoor conditions as long as they receive enough natural light (they tend to drop their bottom leaves if not getting enough). They get their name from the shape of their leaves which resemble a violin...hence the 'fiddle'. They respond well to a tip prune to keep them from getting too lanky, and look great after a leaf polish up. Keep on the dry side and feed regularly with a slow-release or liquid fertiliser.
